Come join us for the first 2023-24 PTO Meeting
Wednesday, September 13th at 6:30PM in the KLMS Library.
Dr. Killian will be joining us to explain the Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE) on November 7th. This has implications for PfISD school funding and homeowner tax bills. This is an opportunity to learn more about the proposal, ask questions in a familiar and smaller atmosphere, and be an informed voter on November 7th. If you want to familiarize yourself before the meeting, check out the PfISD website. If you are new to Texas, this meeting (or any of the Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE) presentations) may be extra beneficial because school funding in Texas is not the same as in other states.
After we discuss the Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE), the PTO meeting will continue with grant requests to review and updates on the PTO fundraisers.
