Accountability & Assessment News
State Assessment Results
Confidential Student Reports (CSRs) are sent home to parents following each test administration, usually near the end of the school year or in June for spring assessments.
Parents and students can also access results for state assessments through the online Student Portal
. You will need the unique access code that is provided on the bottom of any Confidential Student Report (CSR). Refer to any CSR from a previous school year to find the unique access code. Keep this unique access code available and check the website for the latest test results as well as test results from previous school years.
Please contact your home campus with any questions regarding assessment results.

Out of School & Out of District Registration for STAAR & TAKS
Out of school (OOS) and out of district (OOD) students may pre-register for STAAR and TAKS administrations in PISD by contacting the state's testing contractor. OOS & OOD students could be home schooled students, students temporarily residing in PISD, students who did not receive a diploma because they have not passed all required tests, and students in other similar situations. Pre-registering with the state's testing contractor ensures that test materials will be available.
Registration usually closes 3-4 weeks prior to each scheduled test administration. If not pre-registered, please report to the PISD campus where you wish to test and you will be allowed to register on site the day of the test if space and materials are available
. You can also call the campus and ask to speak to the Campus Testing Coordinator for further information or consult the contractor's FAQ document.
Upon arrival at the campus on the morning of your test, you will be required to present a photo ID or some other form of identification that can be verified. Cell phones and all other electronic devices are not allowed in test sites and should not be in your possession while you are testing on a PISD campus.
The PSAT will be given in mid October of every school year.
The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) provides first hand practice in critical reasoning, math problem-solving and writing skills which are found on the SAT reasoning test. The PSAT also serves as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT) which qualifies students for an array of scholarship programs.
Any home-schooled student who resides in the Pflugerville Independent School District may participate in the PSAT/NMSQT and/or any college advanced placement test offered by the District. For more information, please contact the high school transition counselor in the home-schooled student's attendance area. Home-schooled student registration must be done prior to the College Board deadline for U.S. schools to increase PSAT/NMSQT test book orders. More information can be found on the College Board website.
Deadline for PSAT Registration Deadline for Home School and Private School Students is early September prior to the October administration.
