The Pflugerville ISD Partners in Education Program will help provide students with more individual attention, extend their learning experiences, and expand the resources available to maximize their achievement and success. Research confirms that our students are more successful when our community is engaged as partners in their educational experience.
Work collaboratively with a school or the district, to develop and implement a plan of activities and/or resource provision to meet student, educator, campus or district needs.
Generously donate financial resources, equipment, supplies, facilities, technical assistance, underwriting, scholarships or other support to strengthen the educational program and student achievement in PISD.
Through the PISD Mentor Program mentors spend 30-60 minutes weekly during the school day meeting informally with a student “mentee” to motivate, guide and support a PISD student “on the brink of success.” All mentors are required to attend training and consent to a criminal background check.
Assist school staff in day to day activities of the school, special events, or student programs. All district volunteers are required to complete an application and consent to a background check prior to volunteering.
You may complete a volunteer background check by following this link and completing the online form.
