  • Progress Reports

Posted by Marcial Guajardo on 9/19/2019 7:00:00 AM

    Parents,

Our first Progress Reports using the new Student Records System (Skyward) are coming home soon for 2nd-5th grade students. We are noticing that some content areas such as Handwriting or Citizenship or PE may not have a grade on the report. If you have a question or a concern about one of these areas on your child's report, please contact the classroom teacher. We are thankful for your continued patience as we work through learning this new system.

I hope to see you at school sometime soon,

    Christi

    Day 2: Aug. 16, 2019
Yes, that is our Superintendent of Schools for PfISD, Dr. Killian, in the picture! He agreed to help me show our parents the "gap" area in the Car Line. Please leave the area between Mr. Riemer and Dr. Killian (There is a tow sign there, too.) open as we go through our dismissal.

    First Day! Aug. 15, 2019

Doors will open at 7:05 AM. Parents may walk their students to class for the first week (two days). Starting on Monday, if you walk students in, we ask that you use the “Hug Zone” by the cafeteria and then allow your Patriots to walk to class on their own. Breakfast is served in the cafeteria starting at 7:05am.

Just a few more days left in the school year!

With summer quickly approaching remember to please pick up any medications for your child you may have in the nurse's office. Also, this week's blog includes a video on the "summer slide" or the loss of learning that can happen to a child over the summer. Please watch and learn how you can make summer a fun time and a learning time.

Don't forget we have a buy one get one book fair in the library.

Join us to celebrate with our students at our End of Year Awards Ceremonies. We will follow the schedule below and 5th Grade will hold their ceremony on May 30th. PreK will hold their ceremonies in their classrooms.

    • 8 a.m - 2nd Grade
    • 9 a.m. - 3rd Grade
    • 10 a.m. - 4th Grade
    • 12 p.m. - 1st Grade
    • 1:30 p.m. - Kindergarten

We will have the 5th Grade ceremony on Thursday, May 30 at 8:15 a.m.

And remember the last day of school, Thursday will be an early release day at noon.
