Starting with Barron Elementary on September 1 and concluding with the Pflugerville Academic Center of Excellence (PACE) on September 30, “30 in 30” highlights what makes each PfISD school unique, including how each campus got its name, its mascot, as well as unique architectural, program and academic features.

“Every school within PfISD is different, and we wanted to showcase our schools in a fun, positive way,” said Steve Scheffler, PfISD’s communications officer. “We want parents and community members to watch the videos, in addition to the students and staff of each campus. Not only will they learn something new about each school, they’ll have fun in the process.”

Each video is approximately two to three minutes long, and one will debut every morning of the month. They will be linked to each school’s website, posted on social media, and also accessible via PfISD’s YouTube channel at “PfISDvid.”

PfISD and the Pflugerville Education Foundation are also offering the elementary, middle school and high school with the most YouTube “likes” of their video a special prize, which could include the school logo on wall art, a flag, or an entry welcome mat.
