Parents of students with disabilities will have an opportunity to gather information, hear from guest speakers and visit vendors to help them prepare their children for life beyond high school.
The Destination Life regional transition fair and conference will be held at Round Rock High School on Saturday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The event is hosted by 13 area school districts and will feature job training and post-secondary education information. Parents can also gather information on living options for their students with disabilities and visit with more than 75 vendors who may be able to help answer their questions about their individual situations.
Informational sessions start at 9:30 a.m., with four timeslots so parents may attend more than one session topic they are interested in.
For more information please contact PfISD Special Education Coordinator Christopher Visness at 512-594-0177 or email@example.com. There will be sessions in Spanish and Spanish interpretation available at the event.
