Families at three PfISD schools no longer have to worry about overdue lunch balances accrued this school year thanks to a new program started by A+ Federal Credit Union.
In honor of A+ Federal Credit Union’s 70th Anniversary, the credit union launched A+ Gives, a year-long program designed to give back to the communities that have helped A+FCU grow over the past seven decades.
As part of this initiative, A+FCU paid off overdue lunch balances at Highland Park Elementary School, Connally High School and Hendrickson High School. Each of the A+FCU branches located at PfISD high schools selected a school to receive funds:
· $274.94 at Highland Park Elementary School – selected by the Pflugerville branch
· $1,670.82 at Connally High School – selected by the Connally High School branch
· $992.43 at Hendrickson High School – selected by the Hendrickson High School branch
The district is thankful for the generosity of A+FCU and their continued support of PfISD students and staff.
